Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the BugPack Chrome extension and this website (together, the “Service”). The Service is provided by Yuyang Xiao, independent developer, China (“we”, “us”). Contact: arisxiao0209@mail.grokbot.com. By installing or using BugPack you agree to these Terms.

1. The product

BugPack is a browser extension that creates bug reports locally on your device. A free version is available. BugPack Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks additional features as described on the pricing section.

2. License

Upon purchase you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license key for BugPack Pro, covering all 1.x versions. A license key may be used by one person on up to three of their own devices. You may not resell, share publicly, or redistribute license keys, or reverse-engineer the Service to circumvent licensing.

3. Payments and merchant of record

To be verified before launch: payment processor arrangement is pending account approval.

Orders are processed by Creem, acting as our merchant of record. Creem is the reseller of the product and handles the checkout, payment processing, invoicing, applicable sales tax/VAT, and payment-related customer service. Creem's own terms apply to your purchase transaction. Prices are shown in USD; taxes may be added at checkout depending on your location.

4. Refunds

5. Updates and availability

We may update the Service to fix bugs or add features. Pro includes all 1.x updates. A future major version (2.0) may be offered as a paid upgrade; your 1.x license continues to work. Because the Service runs locally, it continues to function even if this website is unavailable.

6. Your data

BugPack processes data only on your device. See the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the content of reports you create and share, including redacting sensitive information.

7. Acceptable use

Use BugPack only on websites and applications you are authorized to test, and in compliance with applicable laws.

8. Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for BugPack Pro in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or loss of data.

10. Termination

We may revoke a license key that was obtained fraudulently, refunded, or charged back. You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling it.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms; the effective date above will change accordingly. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
